1- Tile Your Hood
Cover your hood in the same material as your backsplash to make it look sleek and clean.
2- Never Underestimate the Accents

Put a line of silicone along the seam between the counter and backsplash behind the sink (they make it to match grout colors), to prevent water from darkening your grout.
